What I'm Digging ~~ A Handmade Christmas

I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away! I've found so many amazing D.I.Y. projects that I wanted to try. I made a couple, but I ran out of time for most of them. Oh well, there's always next year! Here's some that were/are on my to-do list:

What I'm Digging -- Halloween Decorations

I love Halloween. I think it might be my favourite holiday, well I love Christmas too, so I guess it's a toss up between the two. Anyway, I love everything about Halloween; the costumes (although I rarely dress up), the trick-or-treating, the haunted houses, the candy, the pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies with orange icing and black sprinkles and... okay I got a little distracted there.

I also love Halloween decorations, and I thought this year I'd get a chance to really go nuts decorating. Of course that was before we went and moved two weeks ago, and now our house is decorated with lots and lots of boxes. I guess my plans will have to wait until next year. So, what I'm digging right now is some crazy cool Halloween decorations. From the simple to the over-the-top, I love them all.

What I'm Digging ~~ I've got some serious Studio Envy

A few weeks ago I showed you my basement which I was hoping to turn into my office/art studio. Well, lately we've been talking about moving again. This is completely insane considering we moved twice last summer, seriously... twice in a three month span. I'll tell you that story another day!

The townhouse is starting to feel a little claustrophobic so we've been looking at houses, but so far we haven't found anything worth moving for. So, my studio space is kinda in limbo. It doesn't really make much sense to completely remodel the basement if we're going to move, except that we don't know for sure that we're going to move. Ugh!!

So, until we get that all figured out I've been spending a lot of time lusting over other people's studios (that's not weird, right?) dreaming of my future space. Here's a few of my favorites right now:

What I'm Digging Wednesdays -- Dresses

As you may recall (and really, why wouldn't you?) #12 on my 32 Before 33 goals list is to wear a skirt or dress at least once a week. I love skirts and dresses, but I just never wear them. So far this goal has been kinda challenging for the simple fact that because I rarely wear them, I don't really have a whole lot of them. And the ones I do have were bought for a specific purpose (usually a wedding) so they seem too dressy for everyday wear.

But, I'm still really excited about this goal, so I'm definitely going to need to do some shopping! I decided to start by doing (a lot) of looking around online. There are so many beautiful dresses out there! It was hard to choose just a few, but these are some that I absolutely adore:

What I'm Digging Wednesday -- Play Kitchens!!

I had been thinking about getting Ava a play kitchen set for Christmas until I came across these homemade ones. They are so cute, and so much cooler than anything store-bought. I see a new project in my future!
